International burlesque star and fashion icon Dita von Teese chose bedroom and living room pieces from Vienna based ARTIFICIUM - the miracle world of furniture when updating her Paris apartment.

While in Vienna in 2008 to attend the Vienna Opera Ball, Dita met Artificium owner Damir Kurevija who had provided the furnishings for her dressing room. Ornate mirrors, gilded vintage birdcages, and other décor caught her eye. When she took an apartment in Paris the next year she chose some ideal items from the Elegance Collection.

With its opulent design and timeless appearance, the collection includes the "Floral" sofa, the "Baroque" bed, the "Wave" dresser, and the "White Piano Chest" lingerie chest.

Dita says, "I chose a beautiful curved sofa in ivory and black for my living room to go with the very French styled decor of my Paris apartment, For the bedroom I selected a custom-made bed all in tufted white leather with shapely, unique chests for my lingerie that have a very 'Parisienne' feel, and a giant crystal chandelier above the bed. It's very romantic!"

French photographer Christophe Mourthe was hand-picked by Dita to capture a view into her living room and bedroom, enabling us to have a peek at the star at her Parisian apartment.

Please take a look at the wonderful world of Dita.
